More Bear Explosion madness!

It's been an incredible summer for my latest project, Bear Explosion.  For anyone who doesn't yet know (can it be?), we're a comedy band producing videos and doing occasional live performances, loosely on a bear theme.

July saw us over in Northern Ireland, performing our first 'proper' live shows at the Belfast Bear Weekend, organised by Men Of The North.  We certainly were very busy boys that weekend, performing our stuff three times in all.  The Northern Irish audiences LOVED what we were doing, and we were incredibly proud and flattered by the comments we received during the weekend.  Add to that the fact we were all away together on a boys' mini-break, and that the very well organised weekend was fantastically enjoyable and we'd have to say a brilliant time was had by all!

We were then straight back into rehearsals for our first gig in our home town of Manchester, booked in to perform at the Village Square stage during Manchester Pride.  I could feel the lads getting a bit nervous as we got closer and closer to the day.  Even the rain (and there was lots of it!) couldn't keep our amazing audience from having a great time watching us.  And again we had so much fun, both on stage, and also during our drunken celebrations throughout the weekend!  Several of us even went for a boogie at G-A-Y Manchester, not something you'll hear me say very often! :-)

Bear Explosion have posted several new videos since the last time I blogged about them, so if you want to find out more about us, you can connect with us on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or on the Bear Explosion website.
